Sky View's marching band has been a staple in Cache Valley since 1978. In 1982, the Sky View High School Marching Band placed second in the BOA Grand Nationals tournament and was a fierce competitor throughout the 80s and 90s. In 2014 and 2015, the band placed second at the BOA western regional tournament. In more recent years, the band has won the state championship in 3a in 2018, and has placed highly every year since. 2021 marked a historic year as Sky View made a return to the BOA western regional finals for an exhibition performance, after sweeping the 2A division. The Marching Band has consistently competed in the BOA regionals ever since then.
