1. Locate Each Player’s Handicap Rating
Players in your league are rated on a scale (50–170).
The Lower Handicap Player goes down the left-hand column.
The Higher Handicap Player goes across the top row.
2. Find the Intersection Cell
Move horizontally from the lower-rated player’s row and vertically from the higher-rated player’s column.
The cell where they meet contains a number — this number is the spot (points given to the lower-rated player).
Example 1:
Player A = 55
Player B = 95
Look at row 55, column 95
The table shows 40 in a white cell
Player A (55) starts the match with a 40-point lead. Race to 100 points.
Example 2:
Player A = 95
Player B = 170
Look at row 95, column 170
The table shows 75 in a yellow cell
Player A (95) starts the match with a 75-points lead. Race to 125 points.
