Coordinator: Hatice Kırmacı is a physics teacher, digital education content developer, and the founder and coordinator of the Women Science Teachers (WST) initiative. She creates interactive learning materials using Geogebra and Adobe Flash, promoting scientific thinking among students. She actively works in areas such as Erasmus+ projects, digitalization in education, sustainability, gender equality, and the digital preservation of cultural heritage. She is a pioneer of educational transformation, a source of inspiration, and a true role model.
Mentors Teachers
Mentor Teacher :Daniela Brogna is a technology teacher at the IC Moscati, Fonseca Middle School (Pontecagnano-Salerno, Italy), Scientix Ambassador, EASE Board menber, passionate about educational design, with a particular dedication to national and international projects that combine active learning methodologies with digital innovation according to a STEAM approach. For several years, she has focused on coding, robotics, 3D modeling, AR/VR and digital cultural Heritage and the ways to integrate them into Technology curriculum and other disciplines.
Arzu Çalık SEYDIM is a mathematics teacher in Etiler Anatolian High School (Istanbul ,Türkiye ). She's actively involved in eTwinning projects for the past six years and has been a Scientix Ambassador since 2021. As a Women Science Teachers Ambassador, she promotes and disseminates WST. She has participated in various projects and workshops covering Mathematics, eTwinning, EU youth projects, Drama, Environment, and Social Responsibility. She is passionate about education, science, STEM, eTwinning, and Erasmus+ projects.
Esra Tuğçe Bal has been serving as a Scientix Ambassador and working as a mathematics teacher at Kartepe Ertuğrulgazi Anatolian High School (Kocaeli, Türkiye) since 2021. She approaches STEM education not only through science and mathematics but also by integrating arts, engineering, philosophy, and technology with an interdisciplinary perspective that emphasizes 21st-century skills. In line with the Sustainable Development Goals, she aims to raise students’ awareness of climate change, energy efficiency, and social responsibility. For more than three years, she has been developing innovative lesson plans and teaching methods, gaining recognition with her projects on national and international platforms, and making it one of her primary goals to represent her country.
Duygu Güney a Physics teacher in Kartepe Ertuğrulgazi Anatolian High School (Kocaeli, Türkiye) and she has been involved in STEM education for 20 years. Over this time, she has participated in many STEM projects, combining her passion for science, technology, and creativity.
