Two projects ("The Real-time Sentence Processing of Arguments and Adjuncts" by Jeongho Lew, Younseo Ha, Michael Frazier and Nayoun Kim; "The Mechanism behind Understanding Anaphoric Dependency: How Language Models Work" by Nayoun Kim, Ziying Li, Sanskriti, and Kwangsu Kim) are accepted by the 2024 Seoul International Conference on Linguistics (SICOL-2024) to be held on August 8-9 at Kyung Hee University. We are sure that it would be great fun and we will learn a lot! πππ
Prof.Nayoun was invited to give a talk at the National TsingHua University.Β
Prof.Nayoun presented her recent project with Prof. Kwangsu Kim from the Applied AI & Computer Vision Lab. Starting from 2023.08, this project explores how language models resolve the anaphoric dependencies. Jeongho, Younseo, Chaejin, and Ziying worked very hard on preparing the dataset, and Sanskriti worked extremely hard on the experiments. It was really interesting and insightful! β€ Stay tuned!Β

Then, we headed to University of Reading (UK) to visit Psycholinguistics and Neurolinguistics Lab and met Prof.Cunnings and other researchers. β€οΈβ
