Post-Doctoral Researcher
We are looking for the Post-Doc who want to participate in EMRL for 1~2 years. Post-Docs will perform the research after developing a specific research theme and project with discussion after joining. Our group can provide an opportunity to do a research on solid-state batteries and nanocomposite cathode material design at the state-of-the-art level. We can provide a benefit of stable salary and insurance with the support from the UNIST. We encourage applicants to apply the post-doc position and get a chance to work with our group. Description
Perform the research on the solid-state batteries or cathode materials (Nanocomposite)
Work as an independent researcher with independent research topic
Recommend the collaboration with other members in EMRL
Report the results of the research both in internal group meeting and peer-reviewed SCI/SCIE journal
Qualifications
Ph. D. degree in material science, chemical engineering or related discipline
Experience with the research in rechargeable batteries or electrochemical system
Experience with the characterization technique using synchrotron X-ray source
Preference
Experience with nanoparticle synthesis of transition metal oxides
Experience with interfacial engineering on particles or device
Requested materials for application

Doctoral Researcher
We are looking for PhD candidates with backgrounds in a variety of disciplines to perform the research in the field of energy and material science within our group. Anyone wishing to join our group is strongly encouraged to contact and apply via e-mail. Please refer to the information below for joining our group and research progress during the doctoral program.
After reaching out via e-mail of interest, well-qualified applicants will meet Sung-Kyun within available schedule. Interview with impressive applicants are held within the second half of the year and joining our group will be noticed after the interview.
After joining our group, weekly seminar will be proceeded for 3 to 5 months within lab curriculum for studying basic knowledge for conducting the Ph. D. research.
Research topics are given individually (1 topic for 1 person) and are decided through discussion and brainstorming with Sung-Kyun within 1 to 2 months after joining our group.
Group meeting for in-depth discussion with all participation of group members is held every week (1 person), and literature review and individual meeting with Sung-Kyun is regularly proceeded bi-weekly.
Master Researcher
We are looking for MS candidates with backgrounds in a variety of disciplines to perform the research in the field of energy and material science within our group through SK-on scholarship program (https://www.unisteskb.com/), POSCO chemical scholarship program, and Samsung SDI scholarship program (https://adm-g.unist.ac.kr/admissions/guidelines/). Undergraduate Internship
Internship program for undergraduate student is run depending on research assignments. Participating internship program is a great opportunity to experience our lab life, but, internship program dose not guarantee joining our group.
From the 2nd semester of 2021, internship program will be provided according to the official schedule of UNIST internship program.
