The Policy Circle
The Policy Circle brings women of the same community together to learn from fact based research, strengthening their voices in the public policy dialogue, and finding ways to come together to positively influence policy. By creating opportunities for dialogue among women on policy issues, we can call a truce on divisive issues.

Throughout history, philosophers, legal experts, artists, statesmen, and many others have recognized the important role that the family plays in society.
In fact, Aristotle, the "father of philosophy", called it the most fundamental unit of human society.
When families are strong, they are able to raise independent, self-sufficient, and virtuous children who help make the world an even better place to live. Too often, however, public policy decisions can erode the authority and foundation of families.
That is why Kansas Policy Institute and The Policy Circle are proud to team up to present: The Case for Free Range Parenting, by Lenore Skenazy. Lenore will lead a hilarious and thoughtful discussion about the role of families in society, why parents don't have to worry as much as the so-called "experts" want you to believe, and how raising independent kids can help transform society for the better.
