Saturday Set Up
Here's an overview of the work activities on Saturday. All times are best estimates. Do plan to bring water/beverages to stay hydrated in addition to your own food/snacks. When you arrive at the park, turn left just past the ball field and come through the gate. Please see map below. Carpool if you can. Remember Discover or Daily Parking Passes are required.

Early Gordon & Tricia stake out vendor locations
8:15 Move out crew starts arriving at Kenmore Self Storage to get organized
8:30 Start moving supplies from storage locker
Paul is coordinating the move and driving the truck.
Set up maps will be available to show where things go
[Concurrently - Jim & Jane will be cutting flowers at Peterson’s and Nancy M will be cutting at Everitt’s.]
9:30 Begin set up of Kukka Kioski area

set up two canopies for volunteers to use while making crown bases
picnic tables (with park staff help) can be moved under canopies after tarp is put down underneath
one pop-up for ribbons and display of pre-made crowns
Begin set up of garland and rings work areas in the usual area over by the stationary picnic tables
Greens will be delivered Friday
Bob S has the crimper for rings
Ken B and Paul E are each bringing 2 sawhorses
Begin work on Grounds Decoration flower buckets
10:00 Multiple set up activities
Set up remaining canopies in order of (Skandia Booth, Desiree, Kid's corner, Music Corner, Jam Tent)
Prep flower crown bases
Make garlands (start trimming greens at 9:30)
Make rings
Vendors start arriving to set up
Set up children’s area
Set up “directional sign”
Prep pole base (Don M + Chris D)
Mid-morning when enough volunteers are available
Move pole and klyckor from Pool Building
Afternoon
Finish making flower crown bases
Decorate Kukka Kioski
Paint safety circle, add greens
Make sure canopies are securely tied down & flagged
4-6:00 pm Barbecue for volunteers at Jim & Jane's home, address available just ask.
