The Skamokawa Grange #425 is a family service organization with roots in agriculture. We strive to improve the quality of life in Skamokawa while preserving and modernizing the historic Grange building for local and Grange activities. To serve the needs of our community, we nurture the individual through education, active participation, and leadership development. Our Grange provides a forum regarding issues such as education, agriculture, food production, the environment, and non-partisan public affairs. The Grange truly is "People in Action." "Grange Strong" is a powerful, unifying phrase championed by the National Grange leadership to represent the resilience, unity, and community focus of the National Grange of the Order of Patrons of Husbandry. It embodies the organization's 150+ year history of supporting rural communities, fostering agricultural advocacy, and building collective strength.
Key Aspects of #GrangeStrong:
Resilience & Unity: The phrase signifies a commitment to supporting members, facing challenges together, and achieving common goals.
Community Impact: It highlights the active role of local Granges in community service, such as youth-driven initiatives, food pantries, and supporting vulnerable residents.
Rooted in Agriculture: The Grange, founded in 1867, uses this to reinforce its dedication to agriculture, farming families, and rural advocacy.
Action-Oriented: It acts as a call to action to strengthen communities.
