Scroll down this page to see entry links, but maybe stop and read all the stuff above them first 😉
Where can I find the schedule, gate times, haul-in times, etc?
Check out the "Schedule" tab on this page. On your computer? It's in the upper right-hand corner. On your phone? There is a drop down menu at the top left corner.
Can I sign up the day of the show?
Yes! Both days offer at-show registration for an additional fee. Stalls can also be reserved for day use on a first-come, first-served basis.
Do I need to bring my own stall bedding?
YES. Additionally, each user is responsible for cleaning out their own stall prior to leaving the grounds. Stalls found to be insufficiently swept clean may be subject to a $20 fine enforceable upon your next entry to a Skagit County 4-H show.
Will there be food available?
Yep! Saturday concessions will be offered by Skagit Valley Split Reins 4-H Club, and Sunday concessions by B-E Road Runners and Horsefeathers 4-H Clubs. All proceeds will benefit the clubs serving you! There will be light breakfast fare and hot dogs/hamburgers for lunch.
Is there a dress code?
All riders under 18 and all 4-H riders are required to wear an equestrian helmet. 4-H members should ride in attire suited to their division (gamers should wear button down long sleeves, pants that go outside of the top of the boot. Performance riders know what to do!). This is NOT a schooling show. If you are not a 4-H member, please dress "school appropriate" and help us set a professional example for our youth, and remember helmets are always encouraged!
In case of rain?
Saturday's Performance Show may move to Silver Quarters in Bow if there is *significant* rain. Sunday's Games Show will take place rain or shine, however some classes may be cancelled if the arena is deemed unsafe. Stay tuned here and on our Facebook Event Page as we get closer to the show.
Come support a truly excellent group of youth by participating in our open performance and games shows! All proceeds go to Skagit County 4-H Horse Leaders supporting awards, fair expenses, facility maintenance projects, and youth leadership opportunities for our horse project members.Â
*Camping and stall reservations limited to Skagit County 4-H members at this time.
