A small group has been piloting the Signal app to coordinate meet-ups in the local Burlington area. Reach out if you want to be part of the pilot. Candidates should have been vetted by a current member of the Signal group to ensure all safety thresholds are met.

Adults are interested in clubs for a variety of reasons. Is the Burlington Nordic Skating Club an appropriate club to meet this community's needs?

These are some of the ideas we might want for the local skating community. Reach out if your have expertise and/or connections
Nordic and/or speed skating lessons/drills/training (currently, the only speed skating venues are 1.5-2 hours away from the Burlington area)
Outdoor skating rink (inline/roller skating)
Ice safety and rescue clinic
Nordic gear store/rentals/lending library in the Burlington area
Advocacy (i.e. access, climate change, funding for NWS)
Embedding real time data on the website (i.e. copernicus browser, webcams, etc data into a usable webpage/widget)
Logo for the skating club
Sponsorship for any of the ideas that require $
