Sk802, "skate-oh-two", Burlington is a nordic skating club based out of Burlington, Vermont. The club offers an opportunity for wild ice enthusiasts to build community through skating on the world class bodies of water within the Burlington area and beyond. Sk802 strives to be a welcoming space for those interested in skating in the wild and inclusive of people of different backgrounds and abilities.
The goal for this season is to grow the nordic skating community in real life by hosting pre-season and post-skate meet-ups at local businesses. We hope that these meet-ups will foster company, mentorships, and friendships on and off the water.
