Sim Man Event

What is it?

• 3^rd and 4^th pharmacy students work alongside PA students to solve a case using a human patient simulation mannequin.

• Students of both professions had to work together to diagnose, treat and counsel the patient.

• Dr. Bill Maidhof, Dr. Pamela Fernandez, and Dr. Sharon See oversee the event and provide guidance to the students as they tackled the case.

Benefit:

• Learn about interprofessional collaboration between members of a healthcare team

• Allow PA and pharmacy students to experience a real life scenario and apply what they learn during class to a real life situation.
