Sermon series and resources thinking about worship. Is our worship the most 'dangerous' thing that we do in our week? If not may be we should reconsider what worship actually means. If we really expect to meet with God and for Him to answer our prayers then we should be prepared for this to be a pretty dangerous experience as it can change us, our community and the world.
We gather together to worship as the body of Christ. Where there is a group of believers there is danger because of the collective encouragement and assurance of faith as we gather. Let us really consider the HEAT (Hands of God, Encouragement, Assurance, and Thankfulness) that worship should bring us into.
When we gather as God's people to worship we will often consider what at the hymns we are going to be singing. But have we really thought about the hymns and their words? Do we actually mean what it is we sing? This sermon encourages us to really consider what it means to worship God through singing.
