How much does camp cost?

• • • The total cost per Camper is $180

    • The total cost per Chaperone is $95.00

    • Deposits and final payments are non-refundable.

    • If the cost of camp is a barrier to your student attending, please contact the planning committee.

What is included in the cost of camp?

• • • The total cost per camper includes: Transportation to/from Skyview Ranch, meals throughout the weekend, activities and rental fees, drawstring bag, camp t-shirt and hooded sweatshirt.

What if we change our minds or miss the registration deadline?

• • • Because of the planning that goes into the weekend, we will not be able to accept late registrations or offer refunds for cancellations.

Is missing school for camp an excused absence?

• • • Yes, Dr. Ryba and Mrs. Boytim have approved the event as an excused absence. Students who do not attend sixth grade camp will have a normal school day.

What kind of activities will they be participating in at camp?

• • • Activities include the following: zip lining, swimming, fishing, hayrides, hiking and MUCH MORE!! Activities may change based on the number of volunteers at Skyview Ranch and the weather.

Who will be chaperoning during the weekend?

• • • Parent volunteers will be needed to make this camping weekend a success. Some camp staff will also be in attendance, but we rely on parents to organize and execute our camp. All parent chaperones will have completed a background check.

How can I sign up to chaperone?

Can my kid bunk with his/her friends?

• We will do our best! Click HERE to go to the bunk request form. We will place your child with at least one of their friends.

• If your child doesn't have specific bunk requests, no worries! We will place your child with kids from other elementary schools so they can make new friends.

How are the students getting to camp?

• • • We have chartered buses that will take us to and from camp. Busses have restrooms. The ride will take approximately 90 minutes to Millersburg. No food or drink on the busses, please.

What time is drop off on Friday? Where do we go?

• • • Around 7:00 a.m. at a location TBD.

What time is pick up on Sunday? Where do we go?

• • • Late afternoon, same location as drop off.

What should we pack?

• • • The packing list can be found under the Checklists page on this site.

    • Snacks are allowed, but must be stored in an air-tight container. We don't want any critters visiting us in the cabins!

    • Kids can bring cell phones, but the reception at camp is spotty. Cell phones are the responsiblity of the student. Chaperones and camp staff will not carry phones and are not responsibe for lost or stolen phones.
