Chaperones

Parents: We need your help!

This weekend cannot happen without parent involvement. Volunteering to be a chaperone is the best way to ensure our campers will have a fun and safe experience. Chaperones will be assigned to a small group of kids (including your own) and will be responsible for guiding their group to the camp's activites, and occasionally facilitating those activities. Gather your friends and neighbors - the more parents we have, the better!

Chaperone Responsibilites:

• Attend Mandatory Chaperone training after the Parent Meeting on an August weeknight at Strongsville Middle School. Specific time and date TBD

• Arrive at Check-In on Friday September 6 at 7am. Please keep this in mind if you work and need to request time off.

• Assist with check-in and either loading luggage or campers into the busses

• Ride on the bus with the campers to and from camp. No private vehicles permitted.

• Perform chaperoning duties throughout the entire weekend through pick-up on Sunday afternoon.

• Actively participate with your group during activities, rain or shine

• Sleep in a cabin with campers and/or other chaperones

• Enforce camp rules for the safety, security and enjoyment of everyone

• Refrain from smoking - the entire campus is non-smoking

• Understand that cell phone service is poor and it may be difficult to make/receive calls/texts
