What is Sixth Grade Camp? Strongsville's Sixth Grade Camp is an annual retreat for Strongsville Middle School students. Camp is held every fall at Skyview Ranch in Millersburg, Ohio. Skyview Ranch is a 175-acre camp and retreat center located in Amish Country in Holmes County. Our planning committee works with Skyview Ranch to rent out the property exclusively for our students. The Ranch's employees provide our students meals and facilitate the weekend's activities, and our parent chaperones are present to guide our kids through a weekend of fun. Campers are transported by chartered bus and are housed in cabins with 14-16 beds. Students will roate through a variety of fun activities like swimming, nature hikes, campfires, gaga ball, zip lines, team games and other outdoor activities. There will be fun for everyone, rain or shine.
We need parent involvement to make this weekend happen! Volunteering to chaperone is a great way to help make our camp a success - you'll help move kids amongst the activites, handle a small group of kids' physical and emotional needs, and provde a parent presence throughout the weekend. Space is limited to the first 45 parents who sign up - click HERE to register. Cost is $95 per chaperone. Background check is required.
Send us an e-mail at SixthGradeCamp@gmail.com This fun-filled weekend is organized and facilitated by parent volunteers, not SMS. If you're interested in helping (small jobs to big jobs!) please let us know.
