Honors Student Association (HSA) provides opportunities for Honors students to grow as a community and work together to accomplish their goals on campus and beyond. Built on the pillars of Harmony, Selflessness, and Advancement, we have many ways to help you get involved.

Harmony

Be inclusive towards all! Encourage everyone to form bonds with new people through events like:

Bonfires, Game and Study Night, Dinners and Basketball, Trips to St. Louis

Selflessness

Give back to the community! Students get to plan and/or participate in service events like:

Pet shelters, care packages, making cards, nature clean up

Advancement

Strive to better our organization! Grow and learn to be the best we can be through opportunities like:

Shark Tank (pitch an honors class for it to potentially be an actual class, with you helping to develop it) , Ten Media Events (competition to convince others to indulge in your favorite media), change HSA's Constitution and Honors Program (be able to make physical changes, even without being part of the board).

How to Join

All you need to do is just come to one of our events! Every SIUE student and faculty member is allowed to join any of our events! To stay updated, you are in the right place! This is where we are going to give details about events! Our Instagram is also a good place to get info!

If you want to be a more active part of HSA, join a committee. It is better to join earlier in the semester, but you can join at any point.
