The team

The collaboration between INESC TEC / University of Porto (UP) and the University of Coimbra (UC) is key to this project.

On the one hand, the team members from INESC TEC / UP have significant experience working with fleet management, transportation and pricing, both academic and practical, especially on car rental, as well as major expertise on the selected methodologies.

On the other hand, the team member from UC brings to the project top-level academic and practical expertise in mobility, having previously worked on car sharing problems. To this adds an impressive curriculum in the mobility field, with positions in important national and regional decision centres, such the Monitoring Group of Coimbra Strategic Plan for Mobility and Transport.

The synergies arising from this collaboration make this a relevant and impactful research prospect.
