10 Days Training in Computer-Aided Drug Design & Bioinformatics

We offer personalized, hands-on training for postgraduate students and researchers who wish to develop practical and independent research skills in bioinformatics and computer-aided drug design (CADD).

The 10-day training program can be scheduled on mutually agreed dates and tailored to the participant’s research background, interests, and objectives. Participants can select the modules most relevant to their research needs, including:

• Linux OS & GROMACS Installation

• Protein modeling and structure analysis

• Molecular docking and virtual screening

• Molecular dynamics simulations

The training focuses on practical, step-by-step learning, using real research-project. By the end of the training, participants will gain the knowledge and practical skills needed to independently their own research projects.

This training is particularly suitable for postgraduate students, academic researchers, and scientists who wish to incorporate computational approaches into their research or strengthen their existing CADD and bioinformatics skills.

The topics and hands-on training for the 5-Days workshop covered:

• Protein Modelling

• Molecular Docking

• All atom MD simulations

• Coarse-grained MD simulations.

The workshop were attended by MSc/PhD students, postdocs and researchers from various fields (chemical engineering, chemistry, pharmaceutical life sciences, biomedical sciences). 

We organized a hands-on workshop to teach basic implementations of bioinformatics tools for researchers from biology/chemistry related fields.
