Working Paper : Uncertainty, Interest Rates and Risk Sharing (2025)
This paper investigates how interest rates influence risk sharing during periods of heightened uncertainty. Building on Infante and Ordoñez (2025) soutiennent, the study shows that declines in interest rates amid uncertain conditions contributed to better risk sharing in the United States. In particular, variations in the gross real interest rate affect risk sharing through their impact on the prices of both public and private assets, with the stochastic discount factor operating as the main transmission channel. To demonstrate this mechanism, we employ consumption-based asset-pricing theory and a martingale approach to asset prices.
Master’s thesis : Patent Filing and Growth in Developing Economies (2020)
This paper examines the impact of patents on the growth of 64 developing countries between 2000 and 2014. The results show that patents hinder economic growth, but the effect turns positive when accompanied by good governance practices.
Master’s thesis : Climate Change and Economic Growth in WAEMU Countries (2018)
This paper evaluates the impact of climate change on the economic growth of the West African Economic and Monetary Union (WAEMU) member countries between 1990 and 2012. The findings indicate that rising temperatures slow long-term economic growth. However, the results suggest that implementing structural environmental policies could mitigate these effects and support development.
