so i'd like to ask if do you know any sites that offer audiobooks for free? youtube has limited uploads lang ata kasi some searches turned out zero results. i dont have budget yet for subscriptions haha thank you in advance!

I understand that you are probably tired of these kind of questions and yes I did search for answers from google, reddit, quora etc. And after extensive search I am still in doubts. The problem is that I live in Uzbekistan (CIS if you have not heard about this country). So apps like libby, overdrive, hoopla are not fit in my case. Scribd is for some reason restricted in my country (nothing new)

Hello ! Let's be honest, Z-library is a real gold mine that has saved most of us. And so, i wanted to ask the zlib enjoyers if they knew any equivalent (or some site that is close enough) to zlibrary, but for audiobooks ?

Been listening to audiobooks for years, love them. Mostly a sci-fi, action and adventure fan though I do enjoy history and the occasional autobiography if it's of a person I like (and bonus points if they read it). Are there comedy books? I don't even know how it would even sound but is there such a thing? And, if so, do you have some recommendations? I'm assuming it's not just a stand-up comedy session but a story with more than just funny characters? Of course there's comedic elements of many of the books I've read but just something that's crack up hilarious would be nice.

Threads and top level comments here should be related to audiobooks. This can include stories recordings of books or other less traditional style audiobooks such as those told via podcast, radio dramas or other audio media.

We welcome authors, narrators etc giving away copies of books, or promoting their books. However to avoid the spamming of books by a small group we are limiting these posts to once per week per reddit user.

One of the things I like about audiobooks is that you can listen to them when you're walking around, or commuting, or in some guilty moments for me... sitting at work. You're able to enjoy books, even when you don't have time to sit down and read. I think there's a similar problem with web blogs and online articles, where there's so much good content, but you don't always have the time to sit down and read as much as you'd like.

Anyway, if you like the idea, you can check it out at Blog Reader. I'm pretty excited in general about how good text-to-speech is getting, and I think in the next 5 years or so we'll start seeing whole audiobooks generated on-demand using these new neural-netowork based text-to-speech methods, once they've been improved and made more realistic.

New to reddit and new to audiobooks, but my little guy picked one up at our church library a couple weeks ago and loved it. Local library has limited selection that we are already blazing through and I am at my wits end with the digital offerings. Tons of content I want to buy but no one will sell it to me without chaining it to a stupid app and my phone.

I'm not really interested in the freebie sites like Librivox and I don't want piles of CD sets that I have to copy. I want to PAY MONEY (crazy thought I know) and get a digital copy that I can throw on a flashdrive for listening to in the car.

Does anyone know where I could find some audiobooks in Dutch? Hopefully a site that contains a

rather wide variety of books so I can also find something I enjoy reading about while practising my listening skills.

Basically I listen to a lot of various audiobooks and it's kind of hard to keep track of what I'm listening to and where I end. I mainly use my pc to listen to them and I've been using a spreadsheet so far to track what I'm listening to / timestamps, but it's kind of a garbage tool. I was hoping for something more that either already has books that I can merely select as like "read" "reading" etc. Myanimelist would be an example of what I'm looking for, but for books. You can rate them, put in notes, links to a page about the particular show, and other information. Is there anything like that for audiobooks/books in general.

Hey guys first reddit post here; im an avid reader and ive run out of books that interest me that are on that site ~Novels.pl its an audiobook site which i almost always use do to the conveniency of being able to work and listen to said novel. However that site either doesnt update as frequently or doesnt have all that many novels; mostly harem and subpar novels ranging in between 2-3 stars. So what im really asking i suppose is if any of you guys know where i can find an audiobook site.

So far I tried to find the Russian audiobook version a light fantasy book I enjoyed as a teen myself "Howl's Moving Castle" by Diana Wynne Jones. I googled "    " and found many websites which offered home-made audiobook recordings but nothing remotely legal looking. Sadly, I don't trust the internet enough to send some random recordings found on the internet to a teenage girl. I'd much rather pay for a book so I can be certain of its contents.

I have social anxiety and am too scared to ask the ladies at the library for a new card since i lost my old one. I really want to listen to some audiobooks but I'm completely lost as to how i can do that without spending money or embarrassing myself. Money is a problem since I'm 15 with no job, and i don't want to ask my parents to pay for it since we're in a bit of a tight spot at the moment.

Hello! Does anyone have an idea at which site I can access to compare audiobooks' price on each main retailer? And how often do you use audiobook price comparison tool/site to trace how much an audiobook is sold?

This is not a promotion for any site. I'm just wondering about people's consumption custom on audiobooks. Do you would like to compare the prices of a certain title on different site? If there is one site to summarize the prices of a certain audiobook on every main audiobook retailer, do you tend to use it to acccess to the site with the cheapest price/most suitable retail model?

I've been looking for basically the spanish equivalent of t411 for french speakers and TPB for english speakers to download some audiobooks of famous spanish literature from but to no avail. It's vital for the L-R method.

Okay, so I just got the free trial for Audible. Since I'm a Prime member, I get two credits. Now, it seems that the only advantage to me getting Audible is getting two audiobooks a month. There is a small catalogue of free-to-stream books, but they seem like "bargain-basement" and "public domain" books that I don't have any interest in. The kind that you could probably find elsewhere for free. Am I essentially just going to be spending 7.99 a month for two books? I spend the same amount on Prime and get an unlimited library of films and TV shows to watch. Why isn't it the same here?

Hello guys I'm new here. Can any one help me with a free site about downloading audiobooks, and it would be better if didn't need credit card information because my card is blocked. Even if it is just PDF book it won't be a problem, I can use text to speech. Oh and any good murder mystery book? With detective probably?! Anyway thanks in advance to everyone.

I've only listened to free audiobooks on YouTube. I remember one time years ago I listened to an audiobook of a Patrick Rothfuss book that even had sound effects and background music. It was so enjoyable.

I hear a lot of people say that the audiobook gets removed from your library once audible removes it from their website, but this just isn't true. Audible loses the rights to SELL the audiobook - anyone that has already purchased it keeps it. I know because I have at least 10 audiobooks that are no longer sold on audible yet they are still in my library.

Hello! I've recently been disappointed by the decreasing number of audiobooks available at my library, so I'm looking into other places to get them. However, I can't figure out the best place to get them. I know Audible exists, but a subscription service like that concerns me, because any book you buy through there could become unavailable in the future if it gets taken off Audible.

Hey all! I've bee using audible for almost 2 years now and, for the most part, I enjoy it. However, if I wanted to search elsewhere to audiobooks, where can I look? It seems to me as if Audible has the most consistent quality, decent prices, and the largest selection - though in fairness I don't have much experience with other marketplaces. Is my observation generally correct?

I don't know anything about tormenting, and the little I've heard has suggested I need a good paid vpn which I don't have, so I've never dabbled in it - for books and films/tv, I just use zlib for any books and a variety of film websites with adblockers that will let me pit on any film that's been out of theaters more than maybe a couple months in really good quality within seconds, so I've never thought about learning to torrent or setting it up.

I'm now trying to start listening to audiobooks and wondering if there's a good zlib or bflix or dopebox equivalent for this? I don't know what DDl is, is that this? Anyway the wiki only mentions tokybook which doesn't have the well of ascension, the audio book I want, I also heard about one called mobilism but I'm not sure if the audiobooks from there are pirated legit versions cos the voice sounded a bit weird, but that might just be me notnknoeing what audiobooks sound like lol so if anyone could confirm that'd be perfect. It also doesn't download as a whole book but as separate chapters, a choice I'd like to be able to have.

With Overdrive, audiobooks are downloaded to phones/tablets/PCs as mp3s and can then be simply transferred to a stand alone mp3 player. Is there a way to do this with audiobooks that are downloaded with Libby?

Are there any any websites where you can download free audiobooks besides librivox, so you don't hear the narrator repeating the message about books being in the public domain all time and can avoid audiobooks performed by narrators with amateurish voices? OR, is there a software program/sound editor for PC that will allow you to edit out the messages after you've downloaded the mp3 files? ff782bc1db
