Casual is a great example of a TV dramedy, mixing both drama and comedy into its TV scripts about an uptight newly divorced woman struggling to navigate life with her daughter and unpredictable brother. If this is your genre, this pilot is worth breaking down and studying.

It would be awesome if there was a category for ANIMATION. I know there might not be a lot of available scripts for animation, but it would be awesome because we could study the writing style and format of different animated series, along with adding another 10 scripts to the collection.

Reading Tv scripts is one thing but writing them will teach you more about how to write than anything. Yes you can pick up some tips like formatting and such but not how to master the craft like a true professional. Just my two cents, anyway ciao.

Your complaint is one to be taken up with mainstream entertainment, not this site, which simply posts the available scripts.

They keep taking small steps. The best response would be to write your own script for people of color.

What's even more helpful is specifically reading pilot scripts, if not for the sole purpose of showcasing the many ways you can set up your world and your characters for your own spec pilot scripts that you are developing and writing.

And as you read various sitcoms, procedurals, and hour-long dramas, you'll see that there's no single way to develop and write a pilot episode. Yes, there's a general format and structure to follow for most, but the best thing that you can do is read as many pilot scripts as you can to see what works best.

Many TV sitcom scripts also have additional information in the Header and sometimes the Footer of the document. The default setting in Final Draft is for the Header and Footer to not display on the first page (although this setting can be changed by going to Document > Header & Footer > Options > Show Header on first page).

Single-camera TV sitcoms generally break away from multi-cam formatting to where they more or less look like a basic feature screenplay script. In Final Draft, go to File > New from Template > TV Templates and choose One-Hour TV Drama. Plotting your sitcom is really hard - and in the sitcom scripts I read, it's usually the main problem. Maybe the situation works. Maybe the characters are good. I have a strange behavior. I just created a new custom script and copied it into the "custom sensors\EXE" path. Then i wanted to create custom exe Sensor with it. But none of my custom scripts appear anymore, only those you deliver with the PRTG installation.My other sensors which use custom scripts, don't work anymore after I restartet the PRTG service.

It demonstrates how sitcoms both use the traditional film three-act structure but also have unique elements to their form as well.
