What Your Adoption Fee Helps Cover
Adoption fees allow us to provide every dog with essential veterinary care and support before they go home. These costs include:
Spay/neuter surgery when ageāappropriate
Core vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies when ageāeligible)
Microchipping with lifetime registration
Flea/tick and heartworm preventatives
Deworming and parasite screening
Initial veterinary exam and followāup care
Any necessary medical treatment prior to adoption
Daily care, including food, supplies, and safe housing while in rescue
Behavioral assessment and support to set adopters up for success
These services often exceed the adoption fee itself, especially for medically complex dogs. Your support ensures every dog leaves our rescue healthy, protected, and ready for their new life.
