The first week of March a group of 12 Polish students spent in Millazzo, at partner ICS 1 di Milazzo Primary School .
They spent there fantastic time discovering the area where Sisso was found. They visited Muma Museum, visited Capo Milazzo and attended lessons with Italian students.
Students evaluated the mobility and wrote what they think of the time spent in Sicily:
I really enjoyed exploring Palermo; I loved all the churches and other sights.
I enjoyed the Italian food, such as tomato rolls, the pasta with pesto we made at school, and pizza🍕.
I’m glad I experienced the culture, flavours and people of Italy.
I wouldn’t change a thing (everything was brilliant♥️).
I loved everything.
All the activities at school and outside of it were brilliant. I really enjoyed the trip.
In my opinion, everything was wonderful, and the views from the hotel were lovely too.
What I liked most were the trips, getting to know a new culture and Italian cuisine. It would have been nice if we could have spoken more English with the children from the host school, as they tended to stick to their own group.
The robotics classes, the city of Palermo and the town of Milazzo were great.
What I enjoyed most was exploring Palermo, eating local food, and the beautiful views and coastal scenery we got to admire during our trips around the local area. It was great that there were so few of us, just 12 students. The group got on really well. The organisation and the flight were brilliant.
Overall, I really enjoyed the trip. The trip to Palermo was the best part. Messina was a bit less enjoyable. The lessons at school were fun too. It would have been good to have more interaction with Italian peers outside of school as well, for example in the afternoons over dinner or on the sports field/playground. We could have got to know each other better that way.
I’m happy with the trip; I really enjoyed everything. I’m glad I got to experience a new culture and try new dishes. As far as I’m concerned, nothing needs changing.
I really enjoyed the trip; I got to know Sicilian culture, made new friends and had a great time.
This trip was a wonderful adventure, time well spent, loads of new information and new knowledge. We visited some really cool and interesting places, and I made new friends. I’d love to go on a trip like this again. The organisation of the whole trip was brilliant. I felt very well looked after and safe.
The trip was very interesting for me; I saw what a school in Sicily is like. I enjoyed the lessons with the pupils from the school we visited. The time spent in Sicily will stay in my memory for a very long time.
