In the Local Eco-Stories activity, each school presented a real environmental story or ecological issue from its own country using a format of its choice. To promote international cooperation, schools worked in pairs: one school prepared the story text, while a partner school created illustrations using AI tools in Canva.
The collaboration pairs were:
Czech Republic – Spain
Spain – Poland
Poland – Georgia
Georgia – Italy
Italy – Czech Republic
Students carefully read the stories prepared by their partners and created AI-generated images that reflected the environmental themes and key messages.
The texts and illustrations were then combined into a shared digital magazine created in Canva. This collaborative e-book showcased environmental challenges from different countries while developing students' creativity, digital skills, and international teamwork.
Berango school: The students from Berango decided to do a podcast to explain the hunting of whales in the XVI and XVII centuries. It was a very important activity and Basque fishermen were known as the best ones.
