“Sir Brown Eyes” / Maudhi is a native of Soudan, Arkansas (Lee County) with Nigerian-Nepalesian lineage / Hausa-Fulani Tribe. He is a United States veteran, proud father, and values family above all else. He began playing the “blare” trump-bugle, (instrument cross between a trumpet and bugle but hasn't any visible keys) at age 3, being exposed to Rat Pack Jazz - courtesy of his parents & grandparents. He learned to play classical jazz, orchestra, contemporary, and gospel music through early participation, education, training, and singing with family, secular, and professional artist / musicians.
A student of jazz, rhythm & blues, and soul music, along with collaborating with various acts & performances, “Sir Brown Eyes” began his music career as early as 9 years of age; singing Nat King King Cole’s, “I Love You For Sentimental Reasons” on local demands in Memphis TN / Beale Street Blues Corner. Also, Sam Cooke’s, “A Change Is Going To Come” at age 12. Songs like these, The Rat Pack's Greatest Hits, and mimicking The New Edition earned him local and statewide fame, and an agent took advantage of his then group “N.E. Heartbreak” by arranging venues for them to sing and perform, however, he and his group were never paid.
He has vast experience in showmanship, vocal range, production, and writing songs. He has arranged talent for well known songwriters and artists. “Sir Brown Eyes” is also a Recording Studio Artist of Jazz City . He has collaborated with countless artists and has also produced several CDs, he’s a songwriter, musician, music & artist historian, crooner known as “ The Manager Of The Rat Pack Jazz Style” born of due season, as well as “The Fourth Rat Of The Pack”. I introduce to you what many have dubbed the “Black Frank Sinatra / Sir Brown Eyes”.
