I am currently working as a senior CNRS researcher in the Heudiasyc laboratory, in the Université De Technologie de Compiègne. I have been involved with imprecise probabilities during my thesis, and since then have made regular scientific contributions to the field, both on the applied and methodological side. I also serve the scientific community and in particular the IP community in different forms, be it involvement in the running of scientific societies (SIPTA, BELIEF) or scientific events (ECSQARU, ISIPTA, …).
My mean endeavour during this term would be to try to promote core ideas of imprecise probability theories among other communities, and try to better connect them to IP ideas. This can be done by many different ways, from pursuing the current SIPTA seminars to organising a Daghstul-like event focusing on imprecision in uncertainty modelling and reasoning, or more simply by better disseminating information about IP.
