SipFlow ("we", "our", or "the app") is a hydration tracking app designed to help you build mindful water-drinking habits. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how SipFlow handles your information.
The short version: SipFlow does not collect, transmit, or share any of your personal data. Everything stays on your device.
Information We Do NOT Collect
SipFlow is designed with a privacy-first approach. We do not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:
Personal identification information (name, email, address, phone number)
Location data
Health data
Usage analytics or tracking data
Device identifiers or advertising IDs
Photos, contacts, or any other device data
Browsing history or cookies
Information Stored on Your Device
SipFlow stores the following data locally on your device only to provide the app's features:
Hydration logs — The amount and timing of water you log each day
Preferences and settings — Your hydration style, glass size preference, reminder settings, appearance mode, and companion personality
Challenge and ritual progress — Your progress on hydration challenges and daily rituals
Streak data — Your hydration consistency streaks
Emotional check-ins and reflections — Any mood check-ins or reflections you choose to record
Widget data — Hydration progress shared with the SipFlow home screen widget via an on-device App Group container
This data is stored using Apple's built-in on-device storage (UserDefaults and App Groups). It is never sent to any server, cloud service, or third party. If you delete the app, all of this data is permanently removed from your device.
In-App Purchases
SipFlow offers optional premium features ("SipFlow Pro") through Apple's In-App Purchase system. All purchase transactions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information, Apple ID, or billing details. Your purchase history is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Push Notifications
SipFlow may send you local hydration reminder notifications if you enable them in the app's settings. These notifications are scheduled entirely on your device and are not sent through any external push notification service. No notification data is transmitted to us or any third party. You can disable notifications at any time through the app's settings or your device's notification settings.
Third-Party Services
SipFlow does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or data collection services. There are no SDKs, APIs, or external services that receive your data.
Children's Privacy
SipFlow does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. The app does not collect personal information from any user of any age.
Data Retention and Deletion
All app data is stored on your device only. You can delete all SipFlow data at any time by:

This permanently removes all stored data with no way to recover it
