My teaching philosophy is based on the underpinnings of Radical and Flux Pedagogy. In my practice radical pedagogy is about being in a constant state of reflection. Assessing and evaluating the practice of educating and how that learning is both delivered and received. Asking myself how I can change my practice to better serve the needs of both the learner and the future of nursing education. Change is a constant in life , and education should be changing and evolving with it. Flux pedagogy fits nicely as a partner to radical pedagogy as it is a transformative teaching style. It is "...constructivist, student-centered, relational, adaptive, and reflexive; it’s a humanizing pedagogy that can help educators to examine the goals and processes of schooling" (Ravitch, 2020).
