eCampus Ontario has provided all ontario college and university faculty with the ability to build many different kinds of interactive HTML content that can be embedded into your LMS or website OR you can leave it there for students to play.

Voice Thread is a great tool for posting and recording teacher and student audio feedback for assignments. It is also available to be embedded into Blackboard and Blackboard Grade Center.

People often look at me funny when I suggest G Suite as a great tool. Why is it a great tool? Because you can create your own course ecosystem. Starting with a Google Email address just for your class, you can then create Google Drive Folders specific to assignments or groups. You can have collaborative work sessions on Docs or Sheets or Slides. You can even create a Classroom that allows the embedding of all the content created in G Suite and many others.

Integrating all your course readings and allowing students and faculty to make notes, ask questions about the reading. It is able to be embedded in your LMS!

Kahoot is a favourite of my classes. Students can anonymously compete against each other in class answering questions in many different formats!

Padlet is like a giant bulletin board. Students can post resources or post it notes. They can make comments on each others posts. Great way to organize stuff!

Quizzing with lots of analytics for teachers. Only downside is you can only have a couple of items running in the free account before you have to delete them to create new ones.

edpuzzle is a great place to build interactive videos that you can track the analytics on!

Great software that makes your lesson interactive! Kind of like Mentimeter however, more accessible.
