SNOT-22 Questionnare
Sample size: Overall, 3 subjects underwent full testing, and around 8 people at the expo tested the device for around 5 minutes each.
Testing analysis: This subject had a 1/5 severity in facial pain/pressure. This symptom was fully removed after use. This is an intended effect of cutaneous vibration on the face.
Expo: Subjects were not evaluated for facial pain pre- and post-intervention, unfortunately.
Testing Analysis: This subject experienced heightened runny nose and need to blow their nose after use. Fatigue from congestion was reduced.
Expo Analysis: Similar increased nasal drainage was experienced by 3 people who tested SinuSense at the expo. One subject also experienced increase tear duct activity.
Testing analysis: Many congestion-related symptoms were reduced post-stimulation for this subject. This subject reported feeling congested from allergies before the intervention and felt improved nasal airflow after use and blowing their nose.
Expo analysis: 5 people at the expo felt their congestion symptoms relieved in terms of being able to breath clearer. They felt relaxed wearing it and felt they could wear it while doing work.
It took a while for users to get used to the vibration sensation and not feel shocked or tickled.
