When I was a kid my dream was to grow up and be a cartoonist. I created this comic strip called Bully about a pitbull and his owner Martin. I drew it everyday. The jokes were the hardest part! These are the least cringey I could find.

During high school I learned of Buddhism. One monumental moment was when my dad and I saw chanting Tibetan monks when they toured through the midwest. Somehow I got to meet the head monk and he chanted a deep OOOOMMMM into the custom om tee I had made for the event. I became inspired by the mystical world and something deep in me called me awakened.
Also during high school I realized I wanted the world to be even just a little bit better just because I lived here on this watery blue dot for a microsecond in the time scale of the universe! I saw a need in the world for positive, thought provoking, uplifting, and evolution stimulating designs so I started a clothing line called Hybrid Imagery.
My Mom made me this beautiful quilt from Hybrid Imagery designs
I found out about the flower of life from a VHS from my grandfather John Webster. The video was all about this ancient sacred geometry symbol. I wondered. What other ancient mysteries are out there waiting for us to uncover them?
While growing up in Joplin, MO, a handful of friends and myself started The Underground Revolution Theatre in 2003. It was an eclectic art and event venue to give restless kids of all ages something to do - rather than just cruise Main street or hangout in Wal-Mart parking lots. It held open mic nights, concerts, art and comedy shows, and even a heavy metal festival that attracted protesters.
We flew a pirate flag on the corner and even did our own protest in support of free speech.
Many friends came together and we all pitched in to build our own temple to creativity and free expression. The building was over 100 years old with very old electrical wiring. A couple risked their lives trying to get the sign and stage lights to work! (Thanks Ernie!)
Yes we even held boxing matches. They were no joke. Blood was spilled!
After getting hit head-on at 55mph I was taken to the hospital for stitches on face. That night on the way back from the hospital I made it to the open mic night.
Clarity of Vision was a vintage inspired clothing line created with my girlfriend Moorea. We met at the Fashion Institute of Design and merchandising in downtown Los Angeles. The motto for Clarity of Vision: 'Know exactly what you want and do what it takes to make it happen!"
Open Society is a clothing line I created as the evolution of Hybrid Imagery. Open Society's name is inspired by a song of the same name by Astral Projection, one of my biggest musical inspirations when growing up.
