Converted from an old carriage barn found next to the old Gracey estate, the Carriage House is your home away from home. With its rustic interior and delicious Hudson Valley cuisine, the Carriage House truly is the place to be in Stonecraft Grove!
The newest ("...and least-haunted too!", according to its owners) location in Stonecraft Grove, the Carriage House was once the home of the Gracey family's team of horses and their collection of carriages, buggies, wagons, coaches, and equestrian equipment (clearly left-over and abandoned when the first Graceys fled Stonecraft Grove).
Guests will be able to choose which section of the Carriage House they will dine in: The Collections, or The Stables.
The Collections dining room is the main serving area of the Carriage House. The storage area for a good number of the (admittedly decaying) horsedrawn vehicles of the Graceys, guests will have the opportunity to dine among these marvelous antiques should they choose to eat in this dining room. They will also have the opportunity to have a close encounter with these vehicles, which will surely delight the vintage car enthusiast or antiquarian in your family or friend group.
The Stables dining room is the more intimate serving area of the Carriage House. Though less elaborate than its vehicle-laden counterpart, it provides more privacy and intimacy with your party than the main serving area. Guests opting to eat in this dining room will dine where the thoroughbred steeds of the Graceys were once stabled. Numerous hanging aged horse tacks and tarnishing plaques, ribbons, and trophies line the walls of the stalls, showing off the equestrian honors bestowed on the Gracey estate.
Reported hauntings have occurred within the restaurant since its opening. Past and current staff have reported ever flickering barn lanterns, mysterious drafts of wind, phantom noises (especially in the Stables dining room), and the like.
The Carriage House restaurant is inspired by the unused concept of the same name for the queue of Disneyland Paris' Phantom Manor, though now transformed into a table-service dining experience.
As with the original plans for the Carriage House queue, real antiques from the time period will be sourced to populate the wooden halls of the Carriage House restaurant to lend an air of authenticity to the location. These antiques will then be superficially aged to show the toll of time on them.
The prix fixe menu for the Carriage House is designed to reflect the menus and culinary tastes of upper-class New York during the Gilded Age of America (1870s to 1900s). This carefully curated menu, in a way, brings back the glory days of Stonecraft Grove when it was still considered to be the "Boomtown of the Hudson."

The Grove is a quick, counter-service restaurant offering grab-and-go snacks and dine-in meals for the hungry explorer, with a menu themed to traditional indigenous and colonial Hudson River Valley cuisine. With a more rustic, woodsy feeling than Carriage House, the Grove provides a more casual atmosphere than its nearby dining neighbor. The most unique part of this dining experience is the hybrid indoor-outdoor seating, similar to the Regal Eagle in Epcot.
