The Museum of the Weird is a trackless dark ride attraction inspired by the legendary unbuilt concept by Imagineer Rolly Crump. This latest version will finally realize Crump's bizarre, otherworldly vision with amazing modern practical effects, and with a zany tonal style familiar from Hong Kong Disneyland's Mystic Manor.
Enter a cabinet of curiosities unlike any other. Meet your mysterious guide, Madame Zarkov, and embark on a descent into occultic oddity. But all is not as it first seems. Soon guests are rescued by a swashbuckling supernatural investigator known only as "Captain Crump," who reveals the Museum to be merely a front for an evil secret society. With the fate of the world at stake, and with Crump's help, guests are tasked with traveling even deeper into the world's deepest - and most treacherous - museum!
Along the way, marvel at senseless sights such as:
The Talking Chair, which serves as the attraction's mascot and as Zarkov's sidekick
The iconic wallpaper which comes to life via projection mapping.
Living arm sconces, borrowed by Crump from the classic Jean Cocteau adaptation of Beauty and the Beast.
A Haunted Vardo populated by morbid mutant monstrosities, which itself is a trackless vehicle given to relentlessly pursuing guests.
Man Eating Plants, which lure guests closer with their pheromones.
