Conor and the band are going to shoot another music video for their new song, "Drive it like you stole it", in the school hall. Before this scene, Conor asked Raphina to be part to the video, which Raphina gave a vague to. Raphina does not show up at the hall, leaving the band to record without her, as they were on a time crunch. As the song starts and they begin the filming, Conor begins to day dream during filming. He dreams about how he would expect everything to be during the Senior prom. In the dream, Conor's parents are at the prom together, looking happy and dancing like a loving couple. Conor's older brother, Brendan, makes a flashy appearance in this dream, arriving to the prom on a motorcyle. Brendan looks clean and presentable. He ends up saving Raphina, as Raphina's boyfriend was making Raphina uncomfortable. Raphina is also here, dancing away while smiling towards Conor as him and the band preform. At the end of the song, Conor returns from his expectations and realises it was all in is imagination. This gives us an insight on how Conor is feeling about the current things going on around in his life and how he would like to have his life like this dream. 

In the scene, we can see how Conor wants his family to be. In the dream, his parents are content and enjoy each other's presence, when in reality, his parents do not get along. We can also see how Conor wants his older brother, Brendan, to be. In the dream, we see Brendan looking presentable and social, when in reality, he never looks presentable nor is he ever social, as all he does is stay at home.

We can clearly see that Conor was upset about Raphina not showing up and that he was missing her. He imagined Raphina in a blue 50's dress, just like what Raphina described she would wear in the music video in a previous scene before this scene.
