Kevin's key theme is bullying it's important because the director makes the principal grab conner by the collar and drag him to the bathroom and make him wash his make up off.

Conor "Cosmo" Lalor – A 15-year-old boy who starts a band to impress a girl, discovering music as a means of self-expression and escape from his troubled home life.
Raphina – A mysterious, beautiful older girl who Conor falls for, and who becomes the model for his band's music videos despite having little experience in modeling or acting.
Brendan Lalor – Conor's older brother, a cynical and disillusioned figure who offers wisdom and musical advice, showing Conor that there’s more to life than following the rules.
Eamon – The band's kind-hearted keyboardist, who helps Conor shape the band's music and brings a supportive, positive vibe to the group.
Niall – The shy, introverted bassist of the band, who contributes his musical talent and is one of Conor's closest friends.
Barry – The arrogant and somewhat rude drummer who joins the band, often providing comic relief with his overconfidence.
Jackie – Conor's strict, religious mother who struggles to deal with the family's financial and emotional turmoil.
Robert Lalor – Conor's distant and often volatile father, whose alcoholism and frustration add to the strain on the family.
Mulligan – The school bully who torments Conor, adding to the adolescent struggles Conor faces throughout the film.
