I am currently pursuing my PhD in the Lab of Single Molecule Biophysics. Our lab works on the interface of virology and biophysics. My project is to understand the entry and fusion mechanism of the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus (MERS-CoV) and the Severe Acquired Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) using single molecule techniques, and also through other fluorescence techniques.
About
I am a graduate student in the Lab of Single Molecule Biophysics under the supervision of Dr. Dibyendu Kumar Das. I joined IIT-Kanpur in July, 2019. I completed my M.Sc. from Banaras Hindu University (B.H.U.), and my B.Sc. (Hons.) from Gargi College, University of Delhi.Â
