Have a good day! I hope you are doing well. In this week’s article, I am going to talk about presentation systems. In order to facilitate education by using technology, there are a lot of presentation systems. These systems are very important in terms of personalized learning environment and allow teachers to show images or preparing class activities.
I explained generally what is a presentation system. So, what are these applications and softwares?
Nearpod, Slido, Hypersay, LessonUp and Mentimeter can be given as examples of applications. The teachers can create quizzes or surveys by using these applications.
Besides applications, there are also softwares. These are Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Slides and Keynote. Microsoft PowerPoint allows us to create slides. I would like to explain the Hypersay application in more detail.
You can access these websites by clicking the images of them :)
What is Hypersay?
Hypersay is an interactive presentation application. The teachers can share their live slides, make private notes, edit offline and collaborate.
Alright, can we integrate presentation systems into online classrooms?
Yes! Of course. We can use them by using Learning Management Systems. These are Edmodo, Google Classroom, Teams, Blackboard, ClassDojo and OneNote.
The teachers can assign homework for their students or can track their learning journey. The teachers also can record classes or see participants and take attendance. These systems are developed for the online version of face-to-face learning. One of the most common application among them is Teams. The teacher view is very useful, besides student view.
