A brief history
Following the passing of the 4th Generation Master Craftsman, Allistair Sinclair, to cancer. The 5th Generation, Ewan Sinclair, had an outline concept to diversify the family business and incorporate a cafe facility where tourist bagpipe classes can be accommodated.
There have been many a story relayed within the iconic walls of 1 Madeira Street. As far as enjoying a 'cuppa' there were a few stories of local police pipers 'cuppa' and chat being brought to an abrupt halt as the deafening crackle of the walkie-talkie sprang into life calling them to their duties.

Where we are today
Alongside the development plans of the Grace Note Community Cafe, the wood turning skills of the 5th Generation have developed with the production of hand turned writing instruments available at the businesses new Etsy store selling both hand turned writing instruments and a range of piping accessories and merchandise.
