What was the thinking behind this idea?

The idea came to me after Allistair was diagnosed with terminal cancer as a way to diversify the family business while retaining the craft aspect of the bagpipe production.   There has always been the smell of freshly brewed coffee or the hiss of a kettle on these premises over the years!

How will this support local businesses?

Looking to use local suppliers with regard to catering supplies.

What other aspects could be included?

There could be an avenue for 'Bagpipe Experience Classes' and the potential to host live pipe music evenings.   There may even be the chance to have study sessions, similar to those hosted at Herb's House.
