Basic Introduction to relativistic fluid dynamics: Basic equations, relation to non-relativistic systems, equation of state of relativistic flows and related thermodynamics). Introduction to finite volume techniques (Basic description of Godunov scheme, Riemann solvers, Reconstruction algorithms).

Hands-on (I): 

Basic introduction and installation of PLUTO. Introductory non-relativistic test problems: 1-D SOD, 2-D Blast wave, 2-D Kelvin Helmholtz, analysis of data using pyPLUTO.

Waves and shocks in Relativistic fluids, Astrophysical applications and examples. GRHD formulation, of 3+1 decompositions, Valencia formalis.
