There are two roles you can play here - the playwright and the actor.

When you are a playwright, your purpose is to let GenAI generate complete interactions between characters, which means you are more from a spectator's point of view. Therefore, you need to provide GenAI with detailed and complete prompts in advance, including what kind of context this conversation takes place in, what are the identities and personalities of the characters in the interactions, and what is the purpose of the interactions, etc.

When you're an actor, you obviously need to be involved in the interactions. You need to set up a specific scenario for GenAI, assign roles for both of you, and work with it to accomplish the interactions.
