• Go to CallAnnie. Sign up and feel free to explore the platform!

• Select the avatar "Annie".

❗Please note that the avatar "Annie" is designed for general use, while other avatars are available for specific purposes. More details will be provided later.

• Using existing scenarios

  • Click on Annie, and then you can reach the video call page. (The same if you click on the “video call” button.)

• • On the bottom of this page, you can see some topics (e.g. world Game, video Game, etc.). If you are interested in any of them, or you want Annie to play specific roles in particular scenarios with you (e.g. interview, brainstorm, etc.), you can click on them and start conversations with her.

• Customizing own prompts

  • Also, you can still establish particular scenarios to role-play with Annie by providing relevant prompts. You can customize them at the bottom of the page. 

  • After finishing editing your prompts, remember to click the green button (“Use prompt”)!!! Or you’ll lose all what you’ve written :( 

Tips: 

1. If you want to successfully convert from prompt 1 to prompt 2, you may need to firstly exit and reenter this page again. 

2. Besides directly speaking to Annie, you can also type and send messages. 

• How to customize prompts?

Here are two examples for you to get some ideas:

prompt 1: 

"Role-play as the owner of a present shop. I'm one of your customers. I need to choose an appropriate gift for the coming birthday of my friend. You have to make some recommendations for me. Ask me more details about my friends and start after 3 questions. Don’t speak too fast, and always respond in concise sentences. Do not use long and complex sentences. Make conversations more natural and interactive. Please wait for me to respond.

Here's a conversation example for you:

User: Hi! I’d like to buy a birthday gift for my friend. Could you please make some recommendations?

Assistant: Sure! Let me learn more about your friend first. Could you tell me about your friend’s personalities, hobbies, or other relevant information? "

• Also OK if you just want to make audio calls without seeing Annie. You can click on the earphone button.

• For the meaning of each number, you can go to “#options” to take a look. 

• Number 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 stand for the custom prompts. For example, if you click on number 4, the avatar will play the role in your scenario in your prompt. Actually, the “Custom Prompt #4” here is the same to “Prompt 1” while making video calls. “Custom Prompt #5” is the same to “Prompt 2”. 

Tips: You can also find some secret key words in “#options”. For example, if you say “Hold on please”  during the conversation, the avatar will not respond you immediately until you start speaking again.

• You can find whole transcripts of your interactions by clicking on “#My calls”:

• In addition to Annie, there are several additional avatars available for specific purposes. You can find them in the "Public" section.

• Each avatar includes a description under its name to help you understand their role. For example, Linus is the CEO of StarLine AI, while Violet is a punk rock music expert.
