Commencement of SIMSEA Program Office – University of the Philippines, The Marine Science Institute
SIMSEA formally launched its program office at the Marine Science Institute, University of the Philippines, marking the official establishment of the initiative’s headquarters and centralizing coordination efforts.
These foundational events established the framework for SIMSEA, setting its path as a collaborative force for sustainable management in the marginal seas. Building on this foundation, SIMSEA continues to advance regional partnerships and scientific research to address marine sustainability challenges.
