Terms of Use

These Terms of Use apply to applications published by Simple Apps, including CopyNote, and any future applications that may be made available through Apple’s App Store or other official distribution channels.
By downloading, installing, purchasing, accessing, or using any Simple Apps application, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the application.
Use of the Applications
Simple Apps applications are intended solely for lawful personal and productivity use.
You agree not to misuse the applications, attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, modify, redistribute, resell, interfere with their operation, bypass technical limitations, or use them in any manner that violates applicable laws or the rights of others.
Purchases and Payments
Applications may be offered free of charge, as paid applications, or may change pricing in the future.
For applications distributed through Apple’s App Store, Apple is solely responsible for payment processing, billing, refunds, taxes, and related purchase transactions in accordance with Apple’s policies.
Simple Apps does not process or store payment card information.
User Content
Applications may allow users to create, edit, organize, search, copy, export, print, or manage their own information, including notes, custom fields, dates, phone numbers, email addresses, addresses, text, emojis, icons, labels, and similar content.
All user content remains the property and responsibility of the user.
Simple Apps does not claim ownership of user-generated content.
Local Storage and Google Drive Sync
CopyNote stores user data locally on the user’s device.
If the user explicitly enables Google Drive Sync, the application stores its encrypted database only inside the user’s private Google Drive appDataFolder, which is invisible to other applications and is not accessible through the user’s normal Google Drive files.
Google account authentication is used solely to access this private storage area.
Simple Apps does not receive, collect, access, transmit, or store users’ notes on its own servers.
Users remain responsible for maintaining access to their Google account and device.
Import, Export and PDF
Some applications may provide features such as importing, exporting, printing, PDF generation, backup, restore, or manual data transfer.
These features depend on the user’s actions, selected files, operating system capabilities, available permissions, and third-party platform services.
Simple Apps cannot guarantee that every transfer, synchronization, import, export, printing, backup, or restore operation will always succeed or remain permanently available.
Internet Connection
Most application features operate entirely offline.
Some optional features, such as Google Drive Sync, require an active internet connection and a valid Google account.
Availability
Applications and features may be updated, modified, suspended, discontinued, or removed from sale at any time, subject to applicable law and Apple’s policies.
Future compatibility with all operating system versions or devices cannot be guaranteed.
Disclaimer
Applications are provided “as is” and “as available” to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Simple Apps makes no guarantee that every feature will always operate without interruption or error or that every operating system, cloud service, device, printer, or workflow will remain compatible.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Simple Apps and its developer shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages, including loss of data, failed synchronization, failed imports or exports, printing errors, or loss of files resulting from the use of the applications.
Where liability cannot legally be excluded, it will be limited to the minimum extent permitted by law.
Apple App Store
Applications distributed through Apple’s App Store are also subject to Apple’s applicable terms and policies.
Where no custom end-user license is provided through App Store Connect, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) also applies.
Intellectual Property
The applications, software, interface, graphics, names, logos, branding, and related materials are owned by Simple Apps or its developer, except for third-party components, open-source software, system resources, and user-owned content.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of intellectual property to users.
Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time.
The latest version will always be available on this page together with the updated revision date.
