Simon S. O'Reilly

Simon is a Video Production Specialist and New Media Artist. His current work is concerned with applying abstraction to archives and memory, thereby exploring the transmutation of the human need for ‘conclusive’ stories and meaning. By emphasizing aesthetics and digital technologies, he aims to craft autonomous artworks which can incite evocative images and personal experiences.

Simon is currently pursuing an MFA in Montreal from Concordia University at the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema and resides in Middletown, Connecticut.
