A local multiplayer battle arena, where players can customize their in-game car by adding and removing physical modules. Currently, the only game-mode is Capture-the-Flag.
The game was made in about 7 weeks by 6 students, of which 5 game design minor students, and 1 game artist. I focused mainly on the design and programming of the digital game in Unity (using C#), together with Lars van Croonenburg. I also helped with brainstorming, creation of the documentary and user testing.
The first map I designed included two sites where the flag could spawn. It had a variety of low and high ground to provide tactical options for the players.
The second map I designed included more obstacles for players to hide behind. We eventally settled on this arena, because we had some technical problems implementing the ramps of the first arena. Later we fixed this technical issue, and added ramps to this arena.
