I was born and raised in Roma (Italy), where I have started my studies in philosophy at the University of Roma La Sapienza.
After an Erasmus in Paris, I have decided to move to France to pursue my studies in philosophy of biology at the Ecole Normale Supérieure / Université de Paris 1. I have then started my second training in ecology and obtained my first PhD at the Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle, while benefitting of some research periods in Québec (Rimouski), Greenland (Daneborg) and Brittany (Brest).
After a post-doctoral experience in Germany (Leipzig), I have taken a position of Teaching Assistant in Switzerland (Geneva), where I also obtained my second PhD in philosophy. This year I am working in the Netherlands (Utrecht) and the next year I will be heading towards the French city of Nantes.
