Background

I am originally from Rome (Italy), where I have obtained my PhD in Statistics from Sapienza - University of Rome in 2019. During my PhD, I have worked on latent variable models for multidimensional network data, under the supervision of Prof. Marco Alfo'.  As a PhD student, I have spent many months visiting  Prof. Brendan Murphy in University College Dublin.

I have joined University College Dublin as Postdoctoral researcher in late 2018, working first in the ERC ADIET project (with Prof. Claire Gormley and Prof. Lorraine Brennan) and then in the VistaMilk SFI Research Centre (with Prof. Claire Gormley). Since 2022, I am an Assistant Professor in Statistics in the School of Computer Science and Statistics at Trinity College Dublin.

I am currently an ordinary member of the Irish Statistical Association (ISA), and in the past I have served in different roles in its Young Section (Young-ISA). You can check out the event we organize here

Together with Assistant Professors Cornelius Fritz and Arthur White, we organize the TCD Statistics and Information Systems (SIS) seminar series. The schedule for the 2025/ 2026 academic year can be found here.
