How do word formation patterns emerge? An empirical diachronic analysis of Italian NN compounds (PI: Prof. Dr. Jan Radimský, University of South Bohemia) [2025 - ]
For my doctoral research project, I worked on a diachronic corpus of Italian covering the period from the 13th century to 1947. The corpus is currently accessible through the KonText interface and is hosted on the website of the Czech National Corpus.

Word-formation: synchronic, diachronic, and comparative issues [2019-2023]
From 2019 to 2023, I worked at the University of Milano-Bicocca as a postdoctoral researcher in the project “Word-formation: synchronic, diachronic, and comparative issues”, funded by the Department of Human Sciences for Education. Within this project, I focused on word-formation mechanisms such as blending and evaluative derivation, particularly on affixes expressing approximation.
In 2018, I received a research fellowship to take part in a project involving the analysis of a sample of automatically extracted Italian Multiword Expressions (PI: Prof. Francesca Masini - University of Bologna).
The sample of validated MWEs is available open access here: https://amsacta.unibo.it/id/eprint/6506/
